World Book Day

Year 2 children looked amazing for World Book Day. We had children dressed up as: students from Hogwarts; the Giraffe from The Giraffe, Peli and Me; Matilda; Vikings and Where's Wally? During the morning lessons to celebrate World Book Day, we decided to carry out some science experiments from the book called George's Marvellous Experiments. We learnt what happens when we add acid or alkaline to cabbage water; we watched as carbon dioxide was created with food colouring, lemon juice, washing up liquid and bicarbonate of Soda. Then we tried to inflate a balloon without blowing it up. We also made coke invisible!
