Year 2 Everyday Materials
In Term 3 and 4, Year 2 have been learning about materials. They have been learning about the names of materials (fabric, metal, glass, clay, paper, wood, leather) as well as their properties (transparent, opaque, smooth, hard, rigid, flexible).
Year 2 have carried out an investigation about the properties of different materials as well as their suitability. They have also looked at absorption and which material would be suitable to clear up a splliage.
