PSHE Anti-Bullying Week
The theme of Anti-Bullying Week this year is "One Kind Word". In Year 5 and 6 assembly, children were shown the Anti-Bullying Alliance video and we discussed how words can have a lasting impact on a person. In class, pupils looked at different scenarios of bullying and discussed how they could give advice to the person involved. Odd sock day was also celebrated to recognise difference. In the PSHE lesson this week, pupils continued to work on anti-bullying and we learnt the difference between Direct Bullying and Indirect Bullying.
