Year 5 - Forces
In Science lessons in Term 5, Year 5 have been learning about Forces. First of all, the pupils made their own investigations into air resistance deciding on their own variables. After that, they investigated friction and water resistance. Finally, they learnt about pulleys, levers and gears and how these mechanisms can turn a small force into a greater force. They had great fun making catapults as part of this learning.
