Dear Parents
Welcome to the learning resources for what is hopefully our final week of enforced remote learning! It has certainly been a challenging time for everyone so we are very much looking forward to welcoming the children back into school on March 8th at 9am, as was the arrangement before the Christmas break.
This week, live sessions will run at the usual times and on Friday we will have a final celebratory assembly where children will be free to share anything they have done during their time at home. As stated on the schedule, party hats are an optional extra for this session (along with streamers, silly string and piñatas, of course!)
We would like to thank you again for all the support you have given to your children during these challenging times and for the many supportive messages we have received from the parent community. We hope that we have been able to provide varied and accessible learning resources to catch the imaginations of as many of the children as possible.
As usual, the week’s learning resources can be found on Microsoft Teams as well as on this page. Please do keep encouraging your child to share their work with us, or let you do so if they don’t have the technical capability. Work can be emailed to yearsix@catherinewayte.swindon.sch.uk or uploaded to Teams, although we won’t necessarily know it’s there unless you also email us to tell us!
Please note that the email address above will continue to be monitored for children’s work throughout the school day until 4pm on Friday 8th March. After this time, we will check it with less regularity!
