Fire Safety Visitor

Previous school year event!

Year 5 were lucky enough to be visited by Miss Sparks from Dorset and Wiltshire fire service today. She informed pupils about
fire safety, emergency procedures and the importance of having an evacuation plan at home. During the session pupils participated in various activities to identify hazards in the home, sequence a plan of action and watched a video of a fire breaking out in a normal living room. Smoke detectors were also discussed and pupils were reminded that these should be tested weekly. Pupils listened to her excellent advice and safety.
