Canopic jars!
As part of our Ancient Egyptian topic in History, the children looked at the mummification process and more specifically what the Canopic jars are used for. Linking to our Art and Design, the children designed their own jars and then made them using clay. To finish off, they painted the Canopic jars using their designs to help them!
