Road to RIAT
Year 6 pupils took part in an online STEM event called 'Road to RIAT' run by the RAF Charitable Trust and a company called The Smallpeice Trust. Pupils learnt about rockets and forces and then designed, created and tested their own rocket designs. They also learnt about aviation and sustainability and had a go at designing their own sustainable aeroplanes. It was a fun and interesting challenge, which incorporated many different subjects, such as maths, science, DT, not to mention other skills such as teamwork and cooperation!
