Victorian School Trip
Year 5 pupils had a fantastic opportunity to travel back in time this week as they dressed up like Victorian school pupils and spent the day at Sevington Victorian school. All the children immersed themselves into the experience and learnt about Queen Victoria, pounds, shillings and pence, how to make lavender bags and bees wax candles, how to rake the garden, household chores, Victorian proverbs and even the dreaded articles of correction! All pupils behaved exceptionally well and had an inspiring, authentic experience. Please enjoy taking a look at the snapshots from both class trips below.
