French Day 19th July 2024
Year 6 pupils thoroughly enjoyed taking part in French Day. It started by meeting our FS2 buddies to share a croissant and then they learnt French vocabulary for directions and places around school, which enabled them to take part in some playground games and a treasure hunt around the school. They also looked at the Paris Olympics and translated some sentences about what would be special at the 2024 Olympics. In addition, they learnt a French song, which they performed to their buddies. Their buddies also performed they French songs to the Year 6 pupils. What a 'fantastique' day!
