Canopic jars
Year 3 pupils enjoyed making canopic jars. They made pinch pots, coil pots and slab pots using rolling and score and slip techniques. Using mark making tools, they engraved hieroglyphics onto their jars. Finally they painted their jars using colours that would have been used in Ancient Egyptian times. The results were amazing!
