This term in Gymnastics we have been learning different shapes and how to execute these shapes whilst jumping. The shapes we have learnt have been; the pike, straddle, star, straight and tuck. We then progressed onto using the jumps and shapes in transitions around the room whilst using different apparatus. This week we looked closely at the muscle groups used in gymnastics. In the pictures, you can see the circuit of exercises we practised to demonstrate the use of different muscle groups and balancing.
