NSPCC Workshop
During the last 2 weeks of Term 4, Year 2 pupils had a number of opportunities to remind themselves about keeping themselves safe.
- They had an KS1 Assembly provided by the NSPCC which discussed the different ways children can feel unsafe. The assembly also addressed how children could stay safe as well as become safe i.e. by talking to a trusted adult.
- There was a follow-up lesson on the assembly which gave the children chance to ask questions in class.
- Then on Tuesday 26th March 2024, the NSPCC led a workshop in both Year 2 classes. This reinforced everything which had been discussed previously. (It also gave the children the chance to meet Buddy!)
The children were very interested in how they could stay safe and how adults can be supported as well.
