PGL Liddington!

We will update this page each day of the residential trip with a quick summary of the day's activities and some photos (or even videos, if Mr Shammas's wifi hotspot connection holds up!)

Day 1

After a very excitable day at school involving a cinema, we left around 2.30, after being helped with the loading of the coach by some enthusiastic (and much appreciated) parents.

The journey was mercifully brief, and on arrival we played lots of games in the sunshine.  We ate dinner and were then off into the woods to play some ambush, which involved hiding amongst the bushes and jumping out at other teams!

A great first day, but the real activities start tomorrow!

Day 2

Today's activities involved lots of adrenaline - with the abseiling tower, Jacob's ladder and the zipwire amongst the high-ropes activities, and some buggy building and survival skills thrown into the mix too!

The evening activity - the disco - is still ongoing, and luckily Mr Shammas has been spared this experience to set up the webpage...

Day 3

Today the weather was perfect for outdoor activities - sunny and warm but not too hot!  There was climbing, a challenge course, and a lot of canoeing (and quite a bit of impromptu swimming, for those that like the water!), followed up by some brilliant campfire songs with our leader Jack.  What a brilliant day!

Volunteers received a special swim!

Day 4

Another beautiful sunny day at PGL, with all sorts of high-rope activities, as well as archery and sensory trails!  Tonight the entertainment is PGL Sports Night, which is sure to be fun too.  See the pictures below for a flavour of today's shenanigans!
