Art- Canopic Jars
Year 3 pupils had the opportunity to manipulate clay with their hands and make canopic jars. They used score and slip to join the pieces of clay. They then used tools to carve and scrape hieroglyphic symbols onto their jars. The children really enjoyed this activity and loved painting their jars.
