The Mystery of The Wooden Box
A mysterious wooden box arrived in Y2. There was a letter for Miss Hill from her aunt. It explained that the wooden box had been found whilst gardening. Miss Hill's aunt wondered if Y2 could work out why anyone would bury a wooden box in a garden.
2 children opened the box to find a bottle of wine and some smelly cheese. After a lot of discussion, the children thought the box might have been buried during the Great Fire of London.
