Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
Catherine Wayte Primary School celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on 27th May 2022 - the last day of Term 5. It was a day filled with red, white and blue. On the same day, the school presented the annual Art Gallery. This year the fosuc was on the Queen's Jubilee. Year 2's focus for this year was the Crown. Year 2 created their own version of St.Edward's Crown. We think it was a great success.
All the children had a wonderful day celebrating! We had our own street party in the afternoon. This included assembling as a whole school to sing the National Anthem as well as Our School Song. There was also a piece of cake and a drink to make the occasion even more special.
