Learning about Brunel

This week we have begun our unit about Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The children have loved learning about all the ships, tunnels, railways and other things he has built. They were particularly fascinated by how he built the Box Tunnel here in Wiltshire. We 'hot seated' Brunel and the children asked brilliant questions and then they pretended to be Brunel answering the questions too! It was great fun and really showed just how much information the children had retained about Brunel :-) Take a look at the photos!
