STEM activity- Brush Monsters
Apollo 4 were lucky enough to have Mr Holland come in and do a STEM activity with them. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. In pairs the children made vibrating brush monsters.
They had to first make a circuit with a battery, wires, a motor and a switch. This is how they got the monster to move. Once the circuit was made they attached it to a brush and this allowed the brush to move across the floor. The last part was to decorated the brush and make their monster!
