Science Visit from Andy Masson on Space

On Thursday 7th October, Year 5 had a special visit from space expert, Mr Andy Masson.  Mr Masson gave an inspiring talk on space to the Year 5 pupils, which covered topics such as the planets, stars, eclipses, the Earth and the Moon.  The Year 5 pupils asked some great questions and some pupils showed great in-depth knowledge about space; they even taught Mr Masson something new! Well done to everyone and especially Ben, Dylan and Alex who made come great contributions.  Mr Masson also talked about stargazing and astronomy and he brought in his large telescope and a range of binoculars to show the pupils how they could easily study the stars and sky at night.  A massive thank you to Mr Masson for giving up his time to come into our school.
