Sport Relief - Active School;Active Kids

A huge Sport Relief well done to all the children here at Catherine Wayte!
Last week (17th to 21st March), in order to raise money and be active, each class was challenged to complete as many laps of the Muga as they could, during an organised session at break time or lunchtime.

The effort and determination seen from the children was brilliant and altogether we ran 6970 laps! Roughly equivalent to an amazing 350 miles!
The winning classes: KS1 classes V1 and V2; KS2 classes V5, V6, A3 and A4 - earned not just glory, but also some extra playtime in which they burnt even more energy!
