Kenya Day
Year 2 studied Kenya during Terms 3 and 4. They looked at where the country was in the world; the physical features of the landscape such as mountains, rivers and coastline; the human features such as cities and villages; as well as the amazing animals native to Kenya. On Tuesday 30th March, Voyager 1 and 2 travelled to Kenya and went on a safari. Below are photos of the day.
Going on Safari
In the afternoon, the children went around the school grounds pretending to be on safari. They had to find different animals. They walked round in groups of 4 holding on to a plastic hoop pretending they were in a jeep on safari in Kenya.
