Road Safety Week

Road Safety Week is 19th - 25th November 2018 and pupils have all had the opportunity to think/share/discuss the hazards and
issues when out and about. Reception classes had a visit from Debbie Collins, Lollipop Lady at CWPS today; the Travel Ambassadors introduced her and the subject to all the pupils. Year 5 pupils worked on the dangers and hazards when in a car, walking, riding and how we can prevent incidents happening - to keep us all safe. We discussed the Green Cross Code and wearing helmets when on a bike/scooter. Some mature suggestions were offered by pupils and the classes had a good discussion in groups. KS2 assembly also focused on Road Safety this week. Please discuss this issue with your children at home to reinforce good road safety practice.
