At Catherine Wayte we aim to provide all pupils with a creative, rich and diverse curriculum which provides opportunities for a wide range of exciting learning whilst developing the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) needs of each child.
Pupils are encouraged to develop curiosity and creativity through a broad range of lessons and extra-curricular activities which enable them to explore, challenge and reflect on their learning and experiences.
Mindfulness and mental well-being are positively promoted through metacognition lessons and the school ethos of collective belonging.
We recognise that the personal development of pupils, spiritually, morally, socially and culturally, plays a significant part in their ability to learn and achieve.
