Year 6 Remembrance Assembly
On Monday 6th November, Year 6 pupils had the privilege to lead a special assembly on Remembrance to the whole school. They explained why we remember, why we wear poppies and read John McCrae's in Flanders Fields and part of Laurence Binyon's For the Fallen. Some children also shared their own poems about World War I and Remembrance. All pupils shared their Remembrance artwork and it finished with the whole school doing a 2 minute silence.
