Explore Shakespeare

Year 6 have been exploring the works of William Shakespeare through drama and writing. 

With Mrs Tomlins, we learned the tragic love story of Romeo & Juliet, and wrote our own love letters and secret diaries in role as one of the two protaganists (main characters).  It was interesting/stomach churning to see how terribly romantic the children were!

With Mr Shammas, we explored the murky world of intrigue and murder of Macbeth, writing our own versions of the witches' spell and a narrative version of the murder of King Duncan.
