Fencing Taster
Year 5 had an interesting PE lesson this Tuesday when they experienced an hour long fencing session. The instructor talked to pupils about healthy bodies and minds and the benefits of daily exercise. Pupils then learnt basic attack and defence moves and how to position themselves. Children were tired by the end after working hard sparring with different partners.
Pupils have taken home a fencing leaflet which offers a four week taster session free of charge.
