Battle of the Beaks!
Have you ever wondered why bird beaks are so different? Toucans, pelicans and finches all have vastly different beaks, and we had a great time trying to retrieve different 'foods' with different 'beaks'! We found that different shapes were better suited to some foods than others, and tied this in to our learning about evolution and survival of the fittest!
