Westonbirt Arboretum Trip
What a day!
All the children and adults had a great day at the Westonbirt Arboretum even with the rainy weather. The day was split into 2 parts. Half the day was spent exploring the Arboretum
- V1 had a Scavenger Hunt - it was amazing what they discovered.
- V2 created art based on the work of Andy Goldsworthy.
The other half of the day was spent with Samantha (a ranger). She helped the children understand how they can tell how old a tree is; understanding different food chains and how these might change if the habitat is altered; as well as understanding why the Arboretum was built in the first place.
