Science Investigation

During our rocks topic we learnt about permeability. If something is permeable it allows water to pass through it. We carried out an investigation to find out which rocks were permeable. We tested this by placing water drops on different types of rocks and seeing which rocks allowed the water to pass through. 

We found out that chalk and pumice rocks are permeable.
