Humanities Explore Week

Apollo 3 and 4 researched Japan and Mexico respectively, during our Humanities Explore week. In pairs, they used Ipads and non-fiction texts to collate information about the country they were studying. This information was then shared in groups so that the children became 'experts' on Japan or Mexico. They used this information to write non-chronological reports about Japan and Mexico, which also linked to their Extreme Earth topic in Geography as both of these countries have many natural disasters.
