World Book Day 2025
What a great day! All the children looked ready to snuggle down and listen to a story. The day started with a whole school assembly. The hall was full of colour.
There were a range of activities throughout the day. Year 5 had visitors from Y6. Two Year 6 pupils visited our class to read some pages of a book they had chosen.

Year 5 went to the Tasting Cafe - this allowed all the children to have a look through a wide range of books. Each child was given a book mark to note down any books they might like to read at home. This was a very popular thing to do and many children have found a new author to try.
The next activity was creating a scrapbook page based on the class novel. There will be photos of finished pages below - keep checking the page.
