Learning About Muslim Prayer
In RE, Year 3 have been learning about how Muslims pray. We discovered that Muslims pray five times a day and follow a special routine called Salah. The children explored the different prayer positions, such as standing, bowing, and kneeling, and learned what each movement means. We also talked about why prayer is important in Islam and how it helps Muslims feel close to God. The children enjoyed trying out the different positions and thinking about the importance of reflection and respect in prayer.
