Junior Good Citizen
On Tuesday 9th June our Year 6 pupils attended the Junior Good Citizen event. We got a coach to the Community Centre and each pupil took part in the following workshops:
- Knife Crime run by the Youth Justice Service
- Hate Crime from Wiltshire Police
- Child Exploitation - Escape Lines
- Internet Safety run by Swindon Borough Council
- Vaping and Public Health also by SBC
- Mental Health and Well-being
- Healthy Relationships - Swindon Without Abuse, and
- Transport Safety by British Transport Police.
All pupils enjoyed being out of school for the morning whilst learning important things about being a good citizen and keeping safe as they prepare to move to secondary school.
