World Book Day!
Our World Book Day was a fairy-tale success, with magic, mischief and a sprinkle of bookish wonder around every corner! The children swapped stories in our book exchange - proving that one child’s 'old' tale is another’s treasure island. Our cosy book café was full of excitement, where our little readers truly devoured new stories - no need for a magic porridge pot!
There was a real sense of happily ever after as the children shared reading with some of our Year 6s, like a page straight out of The Big Friendly Giant - giant friendships and even bigger imaginations. Costumes and comfy clothes brought story time to life, with everything from cozy pyjamas, fuzzy onesies and enough wizards to fill Hogwarts - twice!
It truly was a day where everyone let their imaginations run wild things, proving that once upon a time… can happen every day when we open a book.
Fire Safety Session
We had a brilliant time today, learning all about staying safe and preventing fire in our homes.
PCSO visit!
Today, PCSO Kate and PCSO Lee came to visit us. They told us all about their jobs, showed us their uniforms and even let us see the police car! We asked lots of questions and learnt about police equipment, police vehicles and animals that help the police.

Panto Day - Cinderella in Space!
Today we watched a funny, crazy panto! Our favourite part was when Miss Rose and Miss Watson dressed up and danced for us!!
An Unexpected Visit from Crooked Croc!
Today the villain from our 'Superpoop' story visited CWPS and left a real mess in our Wildlife Area! We had to report back to Mr Shammas about what had happened!
Harvest Festival at the Church
Today, we went to St John's Church in Haydon Wick to celebrate Harvest with Patches. We all enjoyed walking there, singing our Harvest songs and listening to Patches' important messages.
Times Tables Rockstars Day 2025!
We all had so much fun dressing up in our best rockstar outfits! Some of us has super shades, grungy gloves, brilliant bandanas and our best rock band t-shirts! We had an assembly all about Times Tables Rockstars and the importance, awesomeness and all round fun of learning our times tables, as well as having a look at the Times Tables Rockstars online app! We had an amazing lunch fit for a rockstar, completed our very own Times Tables Rockstars colouring poster and danced about to some of the best rock tunes ever!
