Exploring Everyday Materials
This week, year 2 children explored the difference between objects and materials. They had the chance to look and feel everyday items like metal tins, rubber gloves, stones, wooden spoons and plastic bottles. Afterwards, they discussed and explained why each object was made from a specific material. The children found this hands-on activity both engaging and enjoyable.
