Visit to STEAM Museum
On Monday 19th January, Year 5 visited the STEAM Museum in London. This was an early start to our Victorian Topic which begins in Term 5.
We learnt about the History of the Railways especially Great Western Railway.
We were also treated to a play about how we could improve Swindon for the future by looking back at how and why The Railway Village was built. All the pupils were asked about what they think should happen in Swindon.
There was a lot of information shared during the day and we hope all the pupils will be able to use this in the future especially during our Victorian Topic
