A Flavour Journey: Exploring UK and Italian Foods
As part of our Geography topic Our European Neighbours, year 3 took part in a UK and Italian food tasting experience. We explored traditional foods from both countries, including olives, cheddar cheese, sun dried tomato, shortbread, sandwiches, and more! The children used their senses to compare flavours and textures, discussed where the foods come from, and reflected on how they represent each country’s culture. It was a fun, hands-on way to bring our learning to life.
