World Book Day

World Book Day was truly one for the storybooks as our children leafed through all sorts of new adventures in our cosy book café, happily plotting which stories to try next. They loved swapping books to take some fresh tales home—because who doesn’t enjoy a good novel experience? Throughout the day, our wonderful Year 6 pupils read between the lines as they shared stories with younger classes, making the whole school feel brilliantly “well‑read.” And to close the chapter on the celebrations, the evening brought staff together for shared reading, hot chocolate, and biscuits—a perfectly sweet ending to a day devoted to the joy of books.
