Magnets, Metals, and Amazing Discoveries!

Our young scientists had a fantastic time investigating which metals are magnetic! Before starting, the children made their own predictions about which metals they thought would be attracted to a magnet and which would not. Then came the exciting part — testing their ideas!

They were amazed to discover that mild steel was magnetic, while stainless steel was not. With great curiosity and scientific thinking, the children explained that mild steel contains iron, which is what makes it attract to a magnet.

It was wonderful to see the children exploring, predicting, and reasoning like true scientists — all while having lots of fun learning through hands-on investigation!
