Foundation Stage 2 (Discovery 1)

Welcome to Foundation Stage at Catherine Wayte!

We are known as Discovery Class, or D1 for short. 

Our teachers are Mrs Chambers (Mon-Thurs) and Mrs Stringer (Fridays). 

Mrs Leyhal is our Higher Level Teaching Assistant. This means she is able to teach lessons if the teacher is absent for any reason. She also helps us at lunchtime as an MDSA. Mrs Cummings also works in our class as a Teaching Assistant. 

Families can log into their Tapestry accounts to see photographs of all the interesting activities we are doing, and the fun we are having at school. This is also where families can leave messages or send photos of things that have happened at home for your child to share in class with their friends.

We have chosen to share our photographs of children with school families only, rather than share them publicly on the website as part of our work to keep all children safe online.
