In March 2009, the school was awarded the Primary Quality Mark. We passed with flying colours and the assessors have provided external verification of our judgements about the school, describing our work as exemplary. We are a leading practice school for SEAL (Social and emotional aspects of learning).

Catherine Wayte Primary School is successful and popular. Our SATs results reflect the high standards achieved by our pupils. Swindon Borough Council has agreed that, from September 2008, our admission number will be 60: we will have two classes for each year group.

We have vacancies in some of our existing classes. Families who are interested in places for their children are welcome to visit the school. We work with the admissions team within the Local Authority as they make decisions about allocation of places.
